SAP SYSTEM COULD NOT START

SYMPTOMS:
user couldn’t log-in
MMC is ( Yellow , Red , Greyd-out )
Central instance is not running
SOLUTION:
My Computer  Manage  Services  or command prompt and services.msc
Check the service OracleTNSlistener is started
If the listener control is not started Runcommandlsnrctl
If this is done the listener control prompt is displayed , click on lsnrtcl >> status and that should show respond
This reads from Listener.ora and writes it to listener. log
Loc of ( LSNRTCL)  \ORACLE\ORA92\NETWORK\ADMIN

Also try in this way
C : \ tnsping  < hostname  >
The adapter should be able to resolve the hostname by reading it from SQLNET.ORA
The loc of SQLNET.ORA  d:\ORACLE\ORA92\NETWORK\ADMIN\SQLNET.ORA
